** Police seek the public’s assistance in locating Missing person **

[Hopewell, VA] – The Hopewell Police Department is actively investigating and requesting the public’s assistance in helping to locate a missing person and resident of the City of Hopewell. On June 30, 2017, family members reported that they last observed Mr. David Custer, age: 29, leave his residence in the 300 Block of S. 18th Avenue early that morning on foot to go to a nearby bank. Mr. Custer is a recent transplant from the City of Richmond, is unfamiliar with the city and while he has suffered from depression in the past, he was last observed in good spirits.

 

At this time the Hopewell Police Department does not suspect foul play but are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mr. David Custer and reuniting him with his family.

 

Mr. David Custer is described as a W/M, 29 YOA, 5’3”, 220 pounds with green/hazel eyes and blonde hair. He was last observed wearing a black t-shirt with blue jean shorts.
