** Convenience store robbery suspect arrested **

 [Hopewell, VA] – On August 29, 2016 at approximately 3:15am, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2014 W. Broadway St. for a reported robbery that had just occurred. The investigation revealed that the lone offender entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. The offender then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. No weapon was displayed during the incident and no person(s) were injured.

Security images from the business were disseminated to media outlets in the greater Richmond area. Through investigation and with the assistance of Crimesolvers tips the offender was identified as Mr. Irving Daniel Grove, age 39. Warrants for robbery were obtained and on September 1, 2016, Mr. Grove was arrested without incident by the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force in the County of Chesterfield.
